I know I'm really late with the second update, but it's in the coloring stage now so it should be coming up soon, and then more regularly after that.

Ok, that said...even when I just sketch out something, it's not really as quick as I would like.

Usually, I'll start it off in blue pencil. Then once the blue is roughed in, I'll go over that in a very light 6H pencil to solidify the shapes.

Following the 6H, I'll go over it again with a 2B pencil for some darker values. Then, for really deep blacks I'll go over it again with a 6B lead (I use lead and lead holders instead of pencils since I'd rather just the lead get smaller instead of the whole pencil).

When I used pencils I would actually use a 7B pencil for the darkest black outside of charcoal. But now that I use leads, 6B is the darkest you can get apparently.

Finally, once the darkest darks are in, I'll go over it again and do some light shading with the 6H.

I might come back and color this in someday. I'll post it up if I do.
